CandleDeep Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Android game CandleDeep ("the game"), published on Google Play by rkj dev ("we", "us"), an independent game developer based in India. By downloading or playing the game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the game.

1. The game

CandleDeep is a single-player game that is free to download. It plays offline, shows optional ads, and offers optional in-app purchases. You must be at least 13 years old to use the game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and approve any purchase.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the game, or use cheats, bots or modified versions of it.

3. In-app purchases and virtual items

• All purchases are made and paid for through Google Play, using the payment methods in your Google account. Google Play's Terms of Service also apply to every purchase.
• Prices are shown in the game and in Google Play, in your local currency and including applicable taxes, before you confirm. The current list is on the CandleDeep page.
• Items you buy are digital content that is delivered to your game immediately after Google Play confirms the payment (see the Delivery Policy).
• Gems and gold are virtual in-game currencies. They have no real-money value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another person, and can only be used inside the game.
• "Remove Ads", "Gold Doubler" and "Starter Pack" are one-time purchases tied to your Google account and can be restored on a new device through Settings > Restore purchases. Gem packs are consumed when added to your save.
• Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Ads

The game shows ads served by Google AdMob. Rewarded ads are optional. An ad may appear between runs, never during one. How ad data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your progress

Your progress is saved only on your device. We have no servers or accounts, so we cannot recover progress that is lost when the game is uninstalled, the device is reset or the save is deleted. Purchases of one-time items can always be restored through Google Play.

6. Changes to the game

We may update, change or balance the game, including the items and prices on offer. We will not take away one-time items you have already bought. We may stop offering the game, in which case items you already own keep working in the installed game.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the game in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
